Liquid Light, 2004
Hanging Textile Sculpture made hand woven from
polypropylene tape,glass fibre, nylon mono-filament and
perspex.
In daylight the structure is white and semi-transparent, giving
a tranquil, calming effect as it slowly rotates in the air flow.
Here it is illuminated by coloured spot light changing the
textile into a vibrant eye-catching sculpture. The colours can
be altered just by changing the colour of the light bulb.
