Family Tree - Memories Project

Handwoven tube of nylon
mono-filament containing pockets filled
with digitally manipulated images
printed onto acetate sheet.
All the available images from my
children back to my grandparents were
scanned and manipulated on the
computer. Images were selected at
random from over 300 photographs
and inserted into pockets in the tube
during the weaving process.
This work forms the initial exploration
into a project experimenting with video
projections onto 3D screens, partially
funded by the Scottish Arts Council
and facilitated by Limousine Bull Artists
Collective, Aberdeen, 2006/2007.
